| Dissapointing.... |
| Scuderia Ferrari 27-3-2004 |
...that's the word I'd use to descrive the 612. To me, the 456 (both the original 456 and the 'modificata' version) was one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. Simple elegance and agression in equal propotion but this Scaglietti is just clumsy from some angles. I wouldn't say it's ugly but..just dissapointing. I'm sure it's a superior car in every other way to the 456. But if it was me, choosing between a used dark blue 456MGt and a new 612, the 456 gets my money every time! |

The new Ferrari 612 Scaglietti has got to be Ferrari's most beautiful 2+2. Ever since the spectacular 166 Inter Ferrari has a very long history in building 2+2 GT Automobiles. Ferrari and Pirinafirina have done an excellent job creating this masterpiece, and tuning to the highest standards. Ferrari took on the great role of attemting to replace the fabulous 456, and in the end they have created the most beautiful 2+2 ever created. The 612 will go head to head with the Upcoming Aston Martin DB9, and we all know when it comes down to the line the Aston Martin will always be left in the dust, trying to find its way through a thick lair of Pirelli tire smoke in the air, and can just see a glimer of Rosso Corso Red Paint glimering in the light. Also the Aston Martin is English need I say more, The Italians have always led in Design and Power, and will continue to do so. |

Everytime I look at a Ferrari, I wonder, how is it possible for a car to be soooo soooo beautiful?(and this goes for ALL Ferraris) Then when I saw this I was once again hypnotized by that wonderful look. Its amazing these cars are all hand made, damn what I wouldn't give for one. I'm glad that this Ferrari is significantly different than its older bro the 456. If only they would've done the same for the Maranello line up, and given it a REAL new look, not just a new bumper and wheels. |
| Finally, the 612 |
| italian exotic 9-11-2003 |
The 456's exterior is definitely outdated. It looks like an old car, with those horrible headlights that make the car look awkward when they're down and the overall just plain style, unfit for a Ferrari. The 456 was a complete dissapointment. Now, the 612 will once again make Ferrari's lineup flawless. With re-thought headlights, better performance, a smoother overall shape, and one of the most beautiful interiors I've seen in a Ferrari, the Scaglietti is sure to be a hit. From the outside, the car looks like a rounder version of the elegant Aston Martin DB7, and the exterior cockpit shape is similar to that of the Mercedes SL. While it may not be as stunning as the Enzo, 575, or 360, the 612 is great for Ferrari's 4 seat cruiser slot. |
| faces a lot of compeition, but its a ferrari |

Judging from the looks of this car I think its looks sensational, however not as nice as the 456. 10 years on, whenever i see a 456 i am startled just how desirably beautiful it is. i hope this car does better than the 456, i am surprised it costs 30,000 less than the 456. This new car however i will be really happy it does well, so that the 456 will be cheaper, and i will be able to afford one. someone said that 456 competed against the diablo which is wrong, as the only competitors the 456 had was the am vantage, bentley continental gt and the 550 maranello which stole its sales. now we have the continental gt, the vanquish, and the 612bhp mercedes cl65 so it faces some serious competition. however if i had the money i would get a 456 and a 355 spider and forget the newer cars. after all, new cars dont mean they are better, just take a look at the bmw 5 series |
| The Perfect Replacement |
| Motorer1 16-10-2003 |
When I saw this car at the top of the homepage, I literally Said: thank god they are replacing the 456M with worthy Ferrari. From now on, i expect nothing from greatness for the 612. Way to go, Enzo, your company has come through for you! |
| Bella Ferrari |
| choc_hl 16-10-2003 |
What a car! At first look, it's a beauty & hats' off to Pininfarina for making such nice body works. Then, being a Ferrari, it'll be a class-leader & even the new Lambo Gallardo won't be able to beat this particular car in style or performance or handling or even road-manners! Yes, you are to think that am totally biased when it comes to Ferraris. Forza Ferrari!! |
| They did it once again! |

"If the 456 was, for years, the reference for 4 seater coupes, this new machine promises to do so for the years to come. Bentley Continental GT, its real rival, must take care. Still, they remain two different spirit cars: latin and exhuberant Ferrari, classy and intemporary Bentley. With this 612 Pininfarina shows again why Ferrari will always be ""La Bella Machina"". And yes, I think it is great that Ferrari proposes a four seater for the few fortunates who can afford it. A much wiser choice than a prestige SUV, not much different from the ones Volkswagen or Volvo can produce." |
| Pininfarina always improves... |

Ferrari has always been the best in my opinion. No comparison to Lamborghini (Countach and Diablo were the only great production cars for years). Where Ferrari has always had a great existing lineup as well as a great future lineup. I have to say the 456M GTA is the family/business mans dream. A supercar in a family perspective, seating four and no need for a manual shifting gearbox. Pininfarina design could be considered the definition for originallity. The 460M concept drawings look great. With the release of the Enzo, the future is only looking better. One last comment, don't get me wrong I like Lamborghini as well. Lamborghini is finally catching on (Murcielago and Gallardo) and hopefully a more diverse future will arise. Also Porsche tends to lean more towards the BMW presentation anymore, with the Cayenne (X5) and the Boxster S (Z3/Z4). They just happen to sneak in the new Carrera GT supercar which looks much like the Toyota MR2, however, it does look much richer. Again Porsche has great cars, but Ferrari has its own front, and no other manufacturer can match them. Pininfarina is partly responsible for the success of Ferrari. |
| nice improvement |
| haseeb-exotic 5-8-2003 |
ferrari & pininfarina have done a great job indesignning the 460M.the 456 itself was quite an elegant sportscar capable of competing with the powerful elegant looking lambo diablo VT 6.0the 460 looks even better & more sportier.im waiting to see the real cars pics in the 2004 autoshow & then to see it for real.i have a feeling that ferrari wont disappoint us. |

"The Ferrari 456M in my opinion did not get the credit that it deserved. I think it was and still is a gorgeous looking car. Ferrari have a car to suit every consumer. You have the Enzo (extreme supercar), the 575M (2 seater GT ""supercar""), the 456M (2+2 GT where you can put 2 small kids/adults at the back) and the 360 series (2 seater sports cars). My guess is that when the 575M is replaced, it probably will have a 6.0L V12 with even more horse power than the 460M. My guess it will probably be close to 600HP." |
| Radical |
| linkin 23-7-2003 |
With a rather radical design, it perfectly combines the traditionnal Ferrari style in the same time bringing something new to the design. If I were Bill Gates, I would surely order one right now, but onfortunately, I don't posess the financial resources to purchase a wonder like the 460M. |

I love this car. I like the looks more than the F50. Even though the top speed is only a little less. The 540 HP 6 liter engine is great. Overall its a great car with a good engine and awesome looks. |
| Nice Start ! |
| Dodge Man 22-7-2003 |
It's design is a bit new, but it's not ugly at all. The rear lights of the Enzo are nice. The rest of the design is special. But it is not finished yet. The engine is super, I think if you know the engine in the Enzo you may excpect incredible speeds and accelerations. But after all the car will be I think for the older people who buy a Ferrari. |
