nice concept from opel.looks very stylish for an opel. although it does resemble the cadillac 16 with its large wheels & broad front grill & its face also resembles the mazda rx-8 , it still is quite an excellent car. the insignia just goes to show that opel can cars that are as good as other german cars. production isnt impossible & opel can bring it into production by around 2005 but i wish its sooner than that. |

I cannot comprehend the mentality of so many car designers these days. They seem to be obscessed with having a MASSIVE transmission tunnel in their concept car interiors. With the world getting increasingly populous and the never ending pursuit for more space,hence the increasing popularity with SUV and MPV-ownerships, why then are designers now thinking about accomodating only four at most? And even then, now that since passengers no longer have a fifth member in the car to compete for space, they still dont seem to have more space. And do passengers these days really have so much stuff with them that they absolutely need to store them ALL within arm's length? Research has shown that most car owners and their passengers prefer a 'social club' atmosphere in their cars. That's why Rolls Royce chose the coach-like wrap-around seats at the back... and why the Maybach failed so miserably to entice , with their glamorised 'dentist-chairs' . |

Opel isn't as glamourous as its other German counterparts due to its... Seriously I dont know what. They are as high quality, stylish, clinically sleep-inducing.... Anyway, with this car, Opel looks to shine like nver before if, that is if, they built it ! It looks like a stationwagen version of Mazda's RX8 coupe. Even the front looks like a 'New-face' Mazda. Hmmm. That can only mean one thing. It's damn beautiful. Built it Opel. And fast. You've a winner in your hands now ! Just don't , for your own image sake, share it with the other GM cars in the USA.... |
