 Wonderful GT

I disagree with those commenting the GT is not agressive enough, even dull: see it in real and it shows a marvelous balance between grace and agressiveness. At least, with the optional GTA wheels it does. I already saw it, sat in it, but couldnot drive it at the time. Think it's much more beautiful in real than on the pictures, than it also has no feel of 147, even inside! And besides: an equaly equipped GT V6 is almost identically priced as a 147 GTA! One more month patience before I can descide whether or not to order the V6 ....
 Not a GTV replacement

"Actually this Gt is NOT a replacement to the 2+2 GTV coup. This is a sort of 147 coupe variant, as it is strictly related to it. Take a look at the dashboard and you will see for yourself how it's exactly the same as the 147's (although with leather option). To me the car doesn't look that good anyway. the tail reminds me of the terrible Fiat Coupe and the hideous Fiat Brava. The Front grille upper Chromed lip seems a little too ""fat"", I think something thinner would look better. And I don't like the headlights either, their shape reminds me of those fitted on the Fiat BravoBrava. Nevertheless , some friends of mine saw it at Frankfurt motorshow, and they say it's far better in the flesh. Take a look at this link http://www.mbevilacqua.supereva.it/DSCN3595.JPG for a nice picture of a black GT at Frankfurt."
Very beautiful but a little predictable.

I think Alfa has made this car awesome . Although I feel they may have overused that grille of theirs since it is beginning to look predictable rather than ground breaking when it first appeared on the 156. The previous GT was in fact more mould-breaking in its time (it still is !) than this new one is right now. They should have kept the 4 circular lights like on the older models'. But I absolutely love what they did with the rear. Very American but a refreshing warp of that familar Alfa rear-end. IT's altogther a rather muscular yet graceful design. Altough with a front a tad predictable and too similar to a run-of-the-mill 156. Still a wonderful job though.
