Get over it, you know nothing about aesthetics

I saw a 6 series in the metal the other day...I have a new dream car. This is one of the best designed cars I've ever seen. It seems some people are outraged by BMW's (relatively) new flame surfacing approach, but Chris Bangle, I salute you. Very rarely has a car had so much fluidity and consistancy in design, except for maybe the Z4 (love that too). The stance highlighted by the muscular styling and the gorgeous roofline, its an instant classic. And the funny thing that people don't see is that the designs arent totally new, for example the convulated boot (one of the more offensive areas) is just an evolution of previous BMW designs, merely smoothed over. This idea that the cars are ugly is quite stupid, when a car is designed to an uncompromising theme like what BMW has done, it just looks so right, instead of where the designers lose faith and you get a half completed exterior like a Chrysler Crossfire
 Ummm...one suggestion

I am in love with the 6 series, i mean it has taken over my whole bmw impression HOWEVER for the price it is going to go for, which i beleive will be a bit less than the 7 series, they could have atleast made it a hard top. I mean the rag top degrades all the work put into this beauty. Thats my only flaw.

I'd heard that BMW was planning a convertible version of the 6 series, and I was afraid they were gonna screw it up like the 7-Series or something, but they have prooved me wrong. This car looks great. This car will surely fill in the market niche of a luxury roadster currently dominated by the Mercedes-Benz SLK, and I'm sure that Mercedes owners will flock to buy the Bimmer for the sportier image.
