Saw the Gary Cooper SSJ along with the Clark Gable car and a dozen other Duesenberg's at a friends ranch in Doss Texas today. Wish I could post pictures because they all looked great. Also there was the Vanderbilt 1931 and the R&M car prepared to do the 2008 round the world event to commemorate the 1908 race won by the Thomson Flyer.
I've stood next to one of these SSJ roadsters and...

the entire vehicle is just humongous. Like
those cowl pipes gotta be at least eight inches
in diameter. And the headlights are the size of
dinner plate.

I might even try to argue that these SSJ roadsters
are more along the lines of a locomotive powered
by a 12 cylinder internal combustion motor instead
of a steam engine!

And these cars were just as expensive as a
locomotive, too.

Awesome, just awesome....

Not one post on any of the Duseys, wow these cars are why I look at cars instead of homework. I would take this car over any other: McLaren F1, Enzo, Maybach. I would take it because it is like all of those cars rolled into one drop dead gorgeous car. I think this is the quintessence of all cars, it is the best looking car ever. And it comes from an American company too.
