"Actually, I like the new design better than the concept. I guess everyone has their own oppinion. I think that this is a very beautiful car. I also think ford is moving in the right direction now, instead of making car looking cars and jelly beans as they have been in the 90s. Notice this page has no Fords between 89 and 98 besides concept cars, and the few 80's ones aren't in here for their looks ;) I do think however the GT version could do with a nice low hood scoop."

ford, lately i've been impressed with the new gt and the cobra concept, but this mustang is just plain terrible. the concept version was a thouasand times better than the production version. y do u change such an incredible concept into this piece of junk? so many people i know were so exited when the concept was revealed but now the mustang is another new crappy mustang

Well, opinions are like noses - everyone has one. This is a truely beautiful retro-designed car. My friends and coworkers all agreed it is well designed and I've received very good comments even from anti-ford fans! Immediately upon seeing the pictures my fiance and I were sold on it and we plan to purchase one as soon as we can. It is styled very well, tastefully and is a fitting tribute to the history of the mustang. Owning one would be like owning a little piece of American history - Great job Ford!
 Traditionally ... ugly.

What's with the American designers going all retro ,recently ? ! The British are the only ones who seem to be good at this. Harking back to past design motiffs for inspiration and linage-coherence seem to be the forte of British designers ONLY. This care is a shame. Just like the Chevy Corvettte that was reveal just recently as well. Both a victim of tasteless design indulgence. Cheap thrill. Might as well just take a time amchine has head back a decade or two and bring one back . No progression or creativity at all.

I have to say that I am disappointed with the styling of this car. The concept version was much more appealing. The looks were more rugged, beastly and aggressive which worked well, but the design for the manufacture version has been tempered and softened. It now looks too retro, so much so that when I saw it, i wondered if it was in fact the new version. There has to be a balance between retro-styling and modern adjustments and to be honest, Ford have missed on this one.
