the best chrysler ever is the 1970 plymouth roadrunner superbird. while cool the 412 just will never have the same juice w/me as a piece of real american muscle like the superbird
 just a quick reminder.

before you guys get too patriotic about this car remember that the engine is german (mercedes AMG), the chassis is italian (zonda) and the transmission is british (richardo). not trying to discredit the achievement because getting it all together like chrysler has AND still managing to keep to its principles, unlike the frankly overweight SLR, deserves an applause. let's hope that this stays true from prototype to reality.

"I've been an avid Mopar guy- even during the dark times of the boxy ""K"" cars. This is the dawning of a new era for auto enthusiasts of all brand persuasions and of course Chrysler is leading the charge. If it wouldn't of been for the heritage styled Dodge Viper, I doubt if there would have been any of these new enthusiast cars like the Ford GT or Pontiac Solstice. I can't wait to see the ME Four-Twelve on the road- it is truely the King of the Hill in the American Supercar wars..."

Man, this is a great car. This is by far the best chrysler I have ever seen. It is a ferrari fighter with more horse power and torque than the enzo. Also it is alot cheaper. I think this would be a great car to own for too many reasons to list. This car is a true work of art
 should be good.

from what i gather, the chassis is being helped along by the guys at pagani who made the super flyweight zonda and the engine is going to be developed from the same amg engine. we can only hope that the transition from the 'prototype' (as they call it) to the production model is better then what happened with the mercedes-maclaren slr.
