 I don't think the Shooting Brake aspect of the car is what's wrong. Aston has done that before and a lot off the time it's worked out well. The problem with this is that it's just ugly; in the last decade Bertone has really struggled to come up with anything worth putting on a show stand. And they're calling it the "Jet 2?" That's an insult to a really stunning car from on of the best periods for both Aston and Bertone. Did I mention it's ugly?

 Aston DB4's and 5's have been converted into shooting brakes, so this car is in no way a novelty for Aston. I there think complaints about this aspect of the car are unjustified. What worries me more is that we just glance at the picture of the car it looks vaguely familiar, and yes it is a Volvo 480.

 Oh, Lord, how can this be!? Bertone... what are you doing to such a piece of fine British art? The epitome of British beauty, technology, and GT perfection has been turned nto a HATCHBACK!? With rear seats, at that! In an Aston Martin!?!?!? Oh, please. The hippies should burn these instead of H2's, which in my mind, are downright beautiful compared to this tin sacreligious statement.
