 I want one...

As you may have guessed from my username, I really want one of these. It is even faster than the standard RS6, which (I think) makes it the fastest production estate in the world. Those new colours are mad... and the grey wheels... but one thing I didn't understand was why Audi removed most of this cars trademark aluminium parts. The noise is sublime, as is watching one haul itself away in a cloud of tyre smoke and fury... this car is a beast, and not to be messed with!
 New RS6 Long wait...

"The ""New"" RS6 was rumored to be a detuned version of the Lamborghini Gallardo's V10, but now they are saying it will again be based on the 4.2 liter V8 with twin-turbos. However, it won't be out until 2006/2007, so anyone waiting will have a long one. Until then, the RS6 Plus will probably be one of the most powerful, purpose built sport sedans. Audi should be commended for shaking-up the super sport sedan world. Even the BMW M5 will find this Audi a hard act to follow."

"It should be noted that this RS6 is based on the previous A6 model that was replaced earlier this year. This version seems to be an appropriate way to get rid of the ""old"" model. In itself the car looks quite impressive but I am just wondering how many people will go for this one and not wait until the ""new"" RS6 arrives, that may have even better specifications. Give away prices might help of course, but dumping has never been in Audi's vocabulary."
