Fact is this car was not only the wrong color blue. But was in fact just a steet copy sold new in 1969 at Al Ewing Ford in Winter Garen, Florida. Than at some time was made into the car that sold at Christie's. Information as to Disc Brakes all the way around is also in correct. Street Talladega's had Disc's on front and drum brakes on rear. Disc on rear of this car were added at some time in the cars life before the sale. [email protected] |

Could it be that one of the reasons the car sold for so little was that the above example is modified and has clearly been repainted a much brighter blue, hence destroying its originality. The Presidential Blue colour is actually very deep navy blue. |
