 VE interior predictions

Anyone noticed the new VE interior? Thought so! I'd herd rumours we would be able to pick various elements of the VE from this concept car, but I've never seen a decent pic of the interior till now, and bang, its a VE after all! This car would be an excellent addition to the Holden lineup considering the popularity of smaller, more economical vehicles (lets just not mention the twin turbo shall we?). Even so, this car does have a future in this country and we'll find out to what extent sooner or later.
GM may use Torana concept ideas . European 1-Series fighter

GM may be using ideas from the Torana concept (including underpinnings) for a Euorpean-only Cadillac that will be priced below the BLS and compete with the BMW 1-Series, Audi A3, and Mercedes A-Class. Don't expect anything over there too soon, though.

Search this at autoweek.com and read the whole story.

the interior is wot i think "just for fun" its introducing new things to australian public... we are not as seasoned to wild interiors and things of the sort so holden is just breaking the ice... if this car does go into production i doubt they use that interior and if they do they will tame it down.
i personally love the design its agressive but still smooth..so to speak.
i hope it goes into production

The original idea came from Mike Simcoe, former director of design for Holden and GM Asia-Pacific. Around April 2003 he identified a gap in GM's global portfolio for a mid-sized rear-drive sports sedan. Holden wen't looking through architecture to suit the torana. Zeta, Sigma and Kappa were tried and discarded for various reasons, which finally forced Holden boss Denny Mooney to make a decision that cleared the way for a unique architecture to be developed. Took them only 5 months with a clean sheet to build this car.
Denny Mooney Quote( We can do this work as well as anybody in the world," says Mooney. "It's as good as anything I've seen in the years I've been involved with concepts, both here and in the USA. You'll see [Holden construct] more and more of these in the future." )
This car will open doors all over the world in GM, And it will be built here one day soon, It will come in RWD and maybe AWD, Standard V6 and V6TT. I think it's great and when the day comes i would love to own one:D

Just another concept car, that, if produced will come out alot different, so dont expect 20' rims, lol i doubt it very much. Twin turbo with the final product, i doubt that as well, are australia read for this kind of product, and the interior is absaloutely shocking, looks like something out of a Steven Speilberg film. A boring concept car that doesnt interest me, yes, holden design is going down the drain and this proves it.

If anyone thinks this car is anything below excellent or unreal then your learjet must not be ready. All the excitment and brute acceleration standards of the japanese turbo imports, all the looks and compatability of euro concepts and all the brawn and guts Australians crave for. Best concept produced in Australia? By a country mile. Bring on twin turbo Alloytec

Front on it looks much like the new Astra, The rims are sweet!!! 20in thats what im talking about... not sure about gauges but i am sure that is just concepted up! The Glass roof is alright is spose, but i am not sure if it does justice to the hero cars of old, like the A9X!!! But it will, if it goes into production i am sure it will be the boyracers Astra. I think that is the market they will be targeting!
