| Bristol's Clear and Focussed Intelligence |
| Kiwieb 12-23-2007 |
I just love the intelligent conceptual thinking behind this exceptional and unique car. No extraneous or flashy exterior wings as the low CWD aerodynamics (0.28) are deliberately produced by careful body design. Ample glass areas and thin pillars so the driver has all-round visibility. Sufficient and ample interior room to comfortably accomodate drivers as tall as 6'7" in part as the concept was fixed around the needs of two people and not compromised by trying for four. [Ever note the cramped cockpits of ridiculous '2+2' marques like Aston Martin DB9, Porsche 911 et al in which tall drivers cannot get comfortable and are squashed beside over-large centre consoles?] The more I study serious and fine automobiles the more I keep returning to this supercar as it delivers without compromise; it does not have the flaws which seriously detract from most of the others. And on top of it all the Fighter is a tractable everyday car! I want one. |
