The Lancia Aurelia B20 GT entered competition in 1951. In the Mille Miglia, Giovanni Bracco and Umberto Maglioli, driving the B20 GT Mark 1 (1991cc, 91bhp)finished second, only beaten by Luigi Villoresi on a much more powerful Ferrari 340 America (4100cc, 240 bhp). Later on the same year, the same car, this time driven by Don Giovanni Lurani & Giovanni Bracco finished 1st in its class and 12th overall at Le Mans. |
