I collect diecast, and just got this one in 1:18 scale by a company called CMC. The model has well over 1,000 pieces. Stunning machine. |

Surely one of the most important (and attractive) German automotive masterpieces, far ahead of its time, even though it did not compete. Really, what would have become of it if Le Mans '55 disaster had never happened? It might just have changed the face of motor sport forever. |
