My Dad Bob Beatty and his co-drivers, Jonh Gunn & Hugh Kleinpeter won 1st in class and 6th overall at the 1969 24 hours of Daytona in a 1969 Chevron B8. It was the first successful win for Chevron in the US. Awesome car. My friend and Mentor Charlie Kolb also had a Chevron B8, that I unfortunately did'nt ever get to drive. I love those cars!

Except for being nicely shaped, it thrashes the pants off of anyone! It's reliable, it has an extremely rigid chassis and can be called a genuine giant-killer.
It's a popular choice in historic racing, but that shows in the price. They won't change hands for a penny, that's for sure.
