#2121 was delivered new WITHOUT the famous Dubble-Bubbe-roof (proof: period photos and regisration)! #2121 had been modified by its 2nd owner before it left to the USA. Also the front section (radiator grille) and the rear arount the lights had been modified! The only car that had been made with that distinctive detail is chassis #2155. So - no other "dubious" cars here.... |

I've always had a passion for Maserati's A6G's. Of the body makers, the Zagato is the best rendition. I feel that the Pinin Farina and Frua designs, with their large grills, took away from the delicate lines that Zagato incorporated in rendition. Keeping in mind that this was a relatively "little" car, with a wheelbase of a hair over 100 inches, the Zagato is a wonderful job where the chassis and body look in unison. |
| My favorite. |

This is my favorite Maserati, specifically chassis 2121, the only double-bubble A6. |
