As many Lotus fans may know, Chapman would be quite a stubborn man and he would never recoil from pushing his own plans through, which is exactly what happened to this car: he is said to have ignored Len Terry's criticism of the 30, and carried on doing what he thought was right. Even the one-piece GRP body obstructed easy access to the mechanicals. Nevertheless, I still think it's one of the best looking Gr7 cars ever designed. |
