 future 8 series?

 It sounds nice, but I don't think that this will be the ext 8 series. The old 8 was a coupe, and this is a kind of CLS rival sedan/coupe "thing." It was also BMW's top of the line substitute for a supercar. I cannot imagine a four door "super car" would sell. I don't see where the market is. If I had to call it anything I'd call it a 6 & 1/2 series.

 well.. i think this bmw CS is built just to compete with the Mercedes Benz CLS..

 I can't really figure out the point of this car. Between the 7 Series, the 5 Series/M5 and the 6 Series/M6, where is this car supposed to fit in? My only guess would be as a replacement for the 8 Series. And the more I think about it, the more I think a new 8 Series would be cool.

 An interesting design that reminds me in many ways of the 8 series. However the there is a lack of presence from the still photos presented here. Although the same was said for all the Bangle designs. They tend to be nicer in the flesh.
A bit haunch and muscle effect would be nice though. The car appears rather flat in profile with the line from the rear boot following all the way forward onto the bonnet. It will be interesting to see what the final car looks like.
