| it is a lotus |

Its not the first concept vehicle to use the Lotus Elise platform and body. Another example is the Tesla Roadster. |
| Lotus lookalike |
| Ozzh34d 02-19-2008 |
Of course it looks like a Lotus! Bond's submergable car was an Espirit in "The spy that loved me", the contemporary Lotus of the day. The fact that he used an Elise as his base makes absolutely perfect sense in that regard. I would love to go to an incredibly busy shipping lane and just watch people's faces as i drive this thing into and under the water. Ha! |
| Looks very much like a Lotus Elise or Exige |
| acfsambo 01-01-2008 |
This sQuba concept looks very much like a Lotus Elise or Exige both from the front and back. They may have got permission by Lotus to use that shape as it is only a concept. |
| Huh? |
| HVAC25000 01-01-2008 |
"looks almost like it just came out of a James Bond movie." I think what is meant is "looks almost like it just came out of a Lotus knockoff factory." |
