BMW should build a road-going version of this car. Instead of that limp, half-hearted coupe they�ve been flogging, they could build something with the soul, and structure, of a racing car. If a car is going to get 11mpg, then it should be something hard-nosed, something race-bred, a real homologation special that gives the enthusiast the tools required for driving quickly without a lot of frippery. It would be a motor-sports inspired version of the basic 3-series coupe, it could even be designed and built by the motor-sports wing of the company. Hey, I�ve got the perfect name... oh, wait. |
