| This beats all |

"I've driven a few RS4's, on tracks, on roads, and even offroad once. That was a bad idea. It's faster than any Porsche 911 this side of a GT2 (yes, even the turbo-don't ask me how), and it pulls away stupidly fast. The Quattro system with traction control and those big fat 255 tyres all round allow for incredible grip and traction off the line, and you can bury your right foot almost straight away. In straight lines it's awesome, simply breathtaking. Motorway cruising is easy, with an optimum speed of just over 80mph giving you between 30 and 35mpg on a long run. Don't believe the 155 limiter though. I took one round Silverstone, and down the back straight I got up to 170mph and it was still going strong. Unfortunately there was a corner coming up - not a problem with anchors like the RS4's though. As for ""is it better than the RS2?"", in a straight dash: YES!!! Through the corners it tends to understeer as do all 4 wheel drive cars, especially since Audi wanted it to remain fairly conservative and ""safe"". But the good old ""lift-off-into-a-corner"" theory works rather well so long as you really do yank the steering and stand on the throttle straight away - traction control off of course.""" |
| Younger Brother |

Bein the younger brother of the Rs2, this car is a little more Spoiled. More horsepower, more torque, more luxury and more safety. This car owns the road, but it still can't beat its older brother in the sprint, but then again this engine is Cosworth tuned, and not porsche tuned like the RS2 :) |
