| The Maybach Concept |
| Jonboy 16-9-2002 |
This car is a development of the 1997 Mercedes Benz Maybach concept car. There were rumours of a supercharged 24 cylinder engine being offered in this car, producing 1000bhp. Interesting to note that this is badged as a Mercedes Benz Maybach. The production cars are being marketed under the revived Maybach brand. I'm guessing the reason for this is so Daimler Chrysler can go even higher 'up market', as BMW will with their ownership of Rolls Royce and the Volkswagen Audi Group have planned with the Bentley and Bugatti names. |
