 Too expensive;

Color options and expensive materials will never win over the Porsche owners who want the exclusive brand name. Everyone can appreciate the exclusivity and mystique that a brand name elicits. So the Nissan GT-R has filled a different niche; a car for the enthusiast who wants all the "techno wizardy" of the Porsche without the price tag (and without the debilitating traditional rear-engined layout).
On another note, this GT-R Spec V may have overstepped some boundaries with a price tag of 150K. I don't think anyone will be satisfied to spend that kind of money for a Nissan badge, no matter how much faster than the Porsche it is. Is suspension tuning and a set of carbon ceramic brakes really worth an extra 70K? Whoever drops the dough for the Spec V package will suffer from huge depreciation as few will pay more than the sticker price of a new GT-R for a used GT-R Spec V.

..........and stop being fixated by your techno wizardry, impressive as it is, as a car has to look good too

in other words give consumers more exterior paint choices and lighten up your baleful black coloured leather interior as one colour does not fit all and never did

and while you are at it throw in some sexy options a la PORSCHE for more individuality and fat profits

do that and you will cement this as the best Japanese car ever and a 'watershed' epoch making car for the whole world

but do it now, you can get past your engineering myopia......

can't you?
 Hmmm...

Well, I think everyone (myself included) was hoping for a big power boost, but this looks to be more in line with prior Spec V GT-R models, with more focus on refinement in suspension and braking and some nice interior bits. The Japanese are still more interested in refined performance than bragging rights, I think. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that this model is still quite a bit quicker around a track than the normal one, despite the apparently "minor" upgrades.
