I like the side profile, don't mind the front but not sure about the rear tail lights design. Cabin looks like a genuine move forward but don't think I'd order the white leather when contrasted with that much timber veneer on the rear door, internal trim. |

Hope the new engine is of better quality than my 1999 XJL-8 that had major engine problems.. my friend worked at a Jaguar dealership "suggested" to me not to get the car fixed because after replacing the engine the transmission was prone to failure also. I now drive a 2008 Mercury Sable. and have a very large loan balance as I am still paying off the Jag. |
| Killing the old Jaguar, bringing in a new one |

If you'd like to be a Jaguar Ludite, be my guest. But Jaguars of old don't sell too well nowadays. Jaguar was forced to take drastic measures and has succeeded greatly, in my opinion. I was resistant to the new look also, I'm still not completely sold on the grill on the XF, but you can't ignore the fact that it's a great car. If you want an XK120, buy an XK120. Don't slam the new XJ because it doesn't look like a post-war Jaguar. |

They simply killed their brand name. This can be ANY car by putting different logo on it. But definitely NOT a Jaguar! |
