The word 'bland' comes to mind here - and I get the impression that I've seen it all before. No detailing, slabby flanks, a rubbish roofline and a schnozz that isn't far removed from a Maserati Gran Turismo.

Mazda desperately needs a new RX-7, as the RX-8 has done little (if anything) for its sporting credibility and if this is going to be the RX-8 replacement, it's a poor attempt.

I think it should be called...

Enough of this '4-door Coupe' labeling. It's a 4-door stylized as though a coupe. Marketing a 4-door as a coupe, only works on the automotive ignorants.

The new Mazda design language is a winner. Sure be nice if they built this 'Touring' 4-door as is.

As a long time Miata/MX-5 driver, I wonder how this language would translate to a short wheelbase, over square, regime like the MX-5?

Come on Mazda! The Furai concept was a) original, b) beautiful, and c) brand-worthy. You just copied the Infiniti Essence and tried to make it your own. Not impressed.

The title says it: "4-door coupe" seems like a contradiction in terms. I have searched several sites; even you guys put it i9n quotes. Ah, well -- Whatever the anser to that, this Mazda concept is stunning
