This car reminds me a lot more of the rather garish 1988 Speedster than it does of my beloved 356 Speedster. I confess: in my heart I was hoping Porsche would take a cue from the Boxster Spyder and use the GT3 as the basis for an elegant open car suited to tracks and mountain roads, this clearly isn't it. No, this car seems like it's best suited to being parked outside nightclubs in London or Dubai. However this is making the Boxster Spyder (currently the lightest car Porsche makes) seem like an attractive buy. |
