It's heavier than the 458. Nothing more needs to be said about whether or not it's a real Lotus. It's bigger problem might be Mclaren's MP4-12C, which weighs even less, and sports much more advanced technology, and probably better performance. Much of what's wrong here could have been fixed with application of the LFA motor. Unfortunately, Toyota seem to want to keep that engine exclusive, and I can't say I blame them. Still, that alone would have decreased the weight considerably, and given a more focused driving experience. As it stands, this car has no reason to exist. A wasted opportunity... |
