Corvette DP |

absolutly the best looking Daytona Prototype EVER. i never really liked DP cars ,they all seemed like spec series cars. course i was used to the IMSA GTP cars of the 80s, kinda get spoiled, with some looser rules of that era. and i caught the end of CAN-AM stuff, Porsches ,Big Blocks ETC. I wonder what would happen if they allowed a supercharger on that vette,(yeah i know everyone else would follow suit). and the whole thing starts over, maybe so, but sure would be exciting entertainment, until it all goes ballistic. like 275MPH down the Daytona backstrech,OPPS that is scary! insurance would put a stop quick. THX day dreamer. |

Finally |

Finally the Daytona Prototype cars become actually good looking. Would be interesting to know who designed and built the car - I would think Pratt & Miller, but they don't have a word on their site. |
