| Finned fury |
| Cedric 26-4-2003 |
The D-type, yet again a fine example of what the 50's, one of the greatest motorsport era's, have brought us. I find it one of the most beautiful racers ever to be made. A thoroughbred piece of machinery which demands respect. Even now it is still praised. The D-type has it all: class, speed, agility, loudness. And breathtaking curvaceous beauty... and a fin, which had to maintain straight-line stability when the car was flat out at Le Mans. It was very adequate, unlike Cadillac Eldorado fins, which were only show and no go. GO is the word one would cry out loud when stepping into the glorious D-type. |

The D-Type jag looked better and performed better than the C-Type. An even better LEGEND. |
