You are right. This is one of two M63s sold to the United States with the more serviceable push-rod R8 Gordini engine. |

Fascinating story & beautiful pics. Hate to nitpic but that engine looks like my R8 Gordini motors & hence no overhead cams. Cam was in block like standard R8 but with long pushrods to 'hemi' head -like '51 Chrysler -with rockers actuating valves. May not be esoteric, but it sure worked well & revved to 6500 stock & 7500 with cam. Wonderful memories! |
