Too bad they don't make anything like this now instead of the close to 2 ton Behemoth's Ferarri produces now days. A 3 liter engine with modern management could produce more power, less pollution and would probably bypass the gas guzzler tax. Heck, I could settle for 150 mph top speed. Oh yes, throw in a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission. |

In the early '70s, while living in Germany, I worked with a Swiss gentleman, Rob del la Rive Box, to buy a SWB. He had one in stock that belonged to a friend of his. He felt that it was a little over priced ($5400 US), and that he could find me a nicer one for a little less money. Unfortunately, I was going back to the States and Rob never found another one. He sold his friends car though. I should have "over paid" for his friend's car. |
