I think the Italia is better looking. I think what makes it look slightly ugly are the air intakes behind the doors. I think they could have designed that part more elegantly. I suppose that is the price you pay for having 2 turbos. You need to get more air into the engine bay for cooling purposes. If I had the money I'd buy an Italia or Speciale and cherish those cars forever - unless this is just a once off mid engine model using turbos. E.g. Maybe in 5-6 years time when a replacemenbt is due, I hope that Ferrari will go back to NA engines but bolt some electricity to it with KERS just to comply with regulations that some countries have introduced. (I believe the NSX has 3 electric motors). A Ferrari with 4L V8 revving above 9000 + electric motor is better IMO than using turbos. Anyway, have to see this one in the flesh. Might make me like it better than the Italia. |
