| Veritas preview |

I attended the preview of this car in Monterey last August at the RM Auctions reception. Of course, seeing a car displayed in the center of a hotel ballroom surrounded by hundreds of people is quite different than how it might appear on the road, but it struck me as being a bit odd looking. Outlandish, yes, and I'm sure it is very fast. But the heavily stylized grille opening gave it a caricature appearance. Perhaps the most interesting observation was one of contrast. All the guys were making comments about the aerodynamics, how fast it might be, what the engine looked like, etc. But the comment from women was almost universal: "where does the passenger sit, how do they get in there, and is there even any room for a passenger". Cheers |
