nice car but had some problems

My dad had one of these. He traded in his DS21 for it. I only got to drive it a few times. If I washed and waxed it, he would let me take it to McDonalds which was 2 miles away. I would come back in short order with 30 miles on the odometer. It really held the road and was excellent when accelerating in curves. But, the exhaust manifolds were always cracking and would glow dull red after a good run. We were always taking it in for this problem, to no avail. Finally, while warming the car up in our garage, a hydraulic line burst and the oil caught fire on the headers. It burned away the entire front of the car, all the sheet metal and the tires. The smoke went through our entire house, and caused a lot of damage. In hindsight we should have stuck with the DS, which was an amazing car and actually turned more heads than the SM.
 The most beautifull car ever

In my rather modest opinion, this has to be the absolute winner when talking about the best driving, best designed car ever. Nothing can compare with the looks, and the combination of comfort and performance in such a subtle yet evident manner. Mr. Opron you must be God himself or at least his instrument to provide us with beauty and refinement
