| Why Steve McQueen remove all badges on the Bullit car. |

For the movie Steve did a sponsor deal with Ford to help finance the film. Small part of the deal was for Ford to supply the 2 Mustangs. Before the start of filming Ford pulled out of the agreement. The work on modifying the cars had already been completed so McQueen asked to be payed for that and Ford agreed instead to sign the cars over to McQueen. Angry for being dropped by Ford McQueen got all Ford badges removed. |
