| Racin' Blood |
| celtic218 12-6-2004 |
"The last TRUE Porsche if we're talking 911's here, ended in 1973, my dad had a 1969 Carrera that he raced, and that, in my opinion was the last TRUE Porsche. This one however, which my dad also had the 1996 model, was recalling on everything Porsche had learned from building cars in the past, much like every Porsche after another does. But yes, this model you can tell has the racing blood that made Porsche so famous for the ""Win a trophy and drive your race car home."" slogan, you can tell by just looking at it!" |

The 993 Chassis was the last TRUE Porsche in my opinion. The new cars are fantastic sport cars, but they lack the majic of their air cooled counterparts. I also think the styling of the 993 was the best of ANY Porsche EVER. Including the 959. It has a very clean, aerodynamic but traditional look. |
