| Most beautiful Benz? Understatement? |

I would say that this is the most beautiful car I've seen on the road. Well, minus the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage I've seen twice by where I live. Anyway, the only thing is that the weight of the hardtop convertible really kills this car's speed. 0-60 in 6.3 seconds? I really hope this is an underestimation because my 1992 Mustang GT can do it in 6 seconds even. My engine is also 5.0L displacement, but it's of much much older design and really isn't that efficient, putting out somewhere around the mid 200's in horsepower. Anyway, the Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG makes up for that, that one can spank my butt easily. :-P |

this is probably the most beautiful mercedes ever to go into production, but i'd pay the extra few grand for the AMG. It looks more ferocious than this one here. the 500 seems to be smiling. too friendly looking. a car with power and highspeed capability should look intimidating. |
