I'm suprised they didn't boost the horsepower to over 700. That seems to be all the rage now.
Black. Exactly like the Black on the SLR. All black, with carbon fiber wheels. The interior? Black leather with dark grey piping. Badass.
Pininfarina, then Zagato, then Bertone. Don't ask me why.
I did not know that. Thank you clearing that up. I just assumed they were big blocks.
I think I'm a little late to the conversation, but I'd just like to say that that car is probably the coolest French anything ever.
I will never get used to that styling. The front is so ugly. As mentioned before, this car isn't worthy of the "charger R/T" name. Maybe just "charger", because they made some pretty lackluster cars...
I get that this car is supposed to be just out of this world, but why? My ultimate car wouldn't be so outlandish. I dont like overstyled cars. Nobody remembers them.
I say you guys need to start...
I see what you mean. I guess I keep thinking of realiability, costs, simplicity, availability of costs, stuff like that. But this is a balls out, no holds barred supercar, so stuff like that doesn't...
If I had to choose, I'd probably go with the vette. Despite the rather boring interior and high costs for both maintinence and fuel, it's the best performer.
I can't see much of a difference, but I'll stick with the old one. The LS1 is a tried and true engine, so I know it's realiable. I'd love to have either, as long as it's in black.
My dad's friend put an AMC Maverick over an international tractor frame a long time ago. It looked kind of like that camaro.
427's are not small blocks. I dont know the exact line, but a 390 and under is a small block engine, and anything over is a big block. Thats my opinion, but i dont know if there is a system for this.
Thats a very powerful name for such a puny car.
These are very, very interesting ideas. However, I'm very traditional in my concept of a supercar. Simple and balanced. I still dont trust this technology, for it hasn't been proven in the real world...
I actually made like, 20 drawings of the layout for this perfect car. I'm too much of a chicken to scan them and show them, but they work out dimension wise. My favorite is one I call "draft 1". It's...
It's an evil looking car, but i like the mallet and lingenfelter CTS-V's much more. Why? I think they both have 427 big blocks.
umm, I hope I'm not too late to the conversation, but I'll discuss the inital topic.
I'm not liking the direction this GTO is going. It's going to be very ugly very soon. I hate those nostril...
Hmmm. The best naturally aspirated porsche in my opinion was the 993 Carrera C4S. The best turbo porsche was the 993 GT2, and the best racing car...well, thats a tough one. I love the 917 kurzheck...
I'm just telling you what I read. It was a 6th GS corvette because it matched the one in the picture. I don't know about the burning thing, but since the 6th one cant be found, it's totally possible.
I might be generalizing, but I think the americans like the caddy, while the europeans love the M5. Just an observation.
I was reading an article in autoweek a couple months ago about the 6th grandsport corvette. It was always thought that there were 5 GS corvettes, cause thats all they could fine. Yet some guy had a...
Those just weren't enough. Apprently, the 512's couldn't keep up with the porsches.
I'm going to go with the Caddy on this one. I've tried so hard to understand the styling of the M5, but I just dont get it. The caddy is a handsome car with rather simple styling. Call me crazy, but...
Very interesting indeed. I always thought the perfect car would be as simple as possible, kind of like an F40, but less hardcore. Somehting small, mid-engined with a 4.6 Liter naturally aspirated V-8...
