6 litre V12 burning hydrogen gives 285bhp
0-100km/h in 6s
185mph
Thanks for all the fish
If that was an American engine running petrol, it would probably put out same amount of power.
No offence, its just that American engines always have huge engines but little power. Take Dodge Durango for example. 5.9l V8 with 245 hp.A Honda S200 can get 5 more hp than that with a N/A 2.0l.
But anyway, don't wanna change topic.
Great idea, BMW has been experimenting alot with hydrogen. Car looks bit ugly, Bangle maybe?
Looks like a huge ass whale with wheels... nice thread though.
Alright brain... you don't like me and I don't like you... but lets just do this...
Its a truck engine, it makes great torque and sufficient power, that's how all trucks all (except the Lightning and SRT-10).Originally Posted by Spastik_Roach
Anyways, cool thread, and an interesting concept by BMW. A little off topic, but does anyone know when hydrogen fuel cell cars will be ready to be sold to the public, I think a Honda one is being used by city officials in LA.

It seems like BMW want to be watched on the clean energy projects. They've tested some cars engined by hydrogen some years ago.
Good thing for the future
