Most of the fire ones were ol DeSoto names, Starfire from Oldsmobile, and Firestorm was my own creation. All the other names are names of classic cars as well

Incidentally, I did used to be a little bit of a pyro...

BTW what's the Zephyr on? Last I heard, Lincoln quit the Zephyr in the 40's, and Ford had a Euro model called the Zephyr in the 50's and 60's...and that was the last I heard from it.

I reckon the name of the car model should be one word... small and snappy

    my suggestions are: lince (lynx)
    or salto (leap), impenni (prance)

how about something like 'Halcyon' for the model name...

(Halcyon: A fabled bird, identified with the kingfisher, that was supposed to have had the power to calm the wind and the waves while it nested on the sea during the winter solstice.)

I like jcp's idea of peregrine

    Let's keep it simple:

    The UCP Type 1.

"Type 1" or "Type One" being the car's name of course and "UCP" the make.

He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls
