    Alfa Romeo 156 Rear Doors

Now I am just a simple American and never being able to actually see a modern day Alfa up close I want to ask this; how do the rear doors on the 156 open? There is no visable door handle and I am so curious as to how this works, can someone point it out to me? Thanks

At the area of black plastic between the window and the C-Pillar, there is a little latch. that is how you open the door, it was designed to look like a coupe.

So the doors will eventually fall off, thats how you get in?

Just send it through the car wash a few times, all that'll be left is the wheels and some paint flakes!

Not bad looking cars, although I'd have nothing against them just using normal door handles. Took me a while to figure out too.

They say that, but that is just to distract you from the fact that the door has just fallen off.
    Thanks for all the fish

This is one of the most beautiful 4 doors I've ever been in and much of that is down to the hidden door handle. It's a normal working handle, just not where it breaks the beautiful lines of the car like on every othe boring 4-door.

Alfa 147 4-door works along the same principle

it's a shame that alfa romeo does not import or sell this car in canada or the us.

Just wait, it seems that managers in AR are planning the "coming back" to the northern American market with the next generation of 156 (the 157) and other cars. But that solution for the rear doors seems will be omitted.

    157

This is only a computer design, not definitive.

And what about the planned models?
    Alfa Kamal

I hate SUVs, but it seems nice to me.

    Alfa Spider

Beautiful, but NOT as the historical "Duetto".

    Alfa 8c Competizione

Now it's just a concept, but they are too stupids if they won't build it. It will receive Ferrari's engines, as it seems.
