Yes, I hate the way that Mercedes screw up these cars by replacing wheezy 1.8 litre 4 cylinder engines with hand build V8s and V12s with forced induction and more torque than Parkinson.

And they take the standard brakes off, those delightful 16" plastic wheel trims, and replace them with 18" lightweight alloy ones, and high performance brakes.

Then they go and fool around with the suspension, making it all "better" and spend hours thrashing it round the Nurburgring untill it handles well.

    Bastards!

Nice point. But, anyway, I can't quite undersatand the point of the overengined, overpriced AMG's like this one. It's awfully expensive and still can't be as good as an M3.

So is it supposed to be really sporty or just really exotic?
I remember when AMG used to work on 190E's 2.5 16v Cosworth engined, and made perfectly balenced and exploitable cars, that had prices from real world.

I can't see the point of a cab looking rocket that doensn't quite delive what it promises in terms of driving experience.

I don't think that this is a C 65 because I won't believe that the big BiTurbo V12 will fit in the little C Class, which don't use a Kompressor in the 55 version because there isn't enough space for it...

I think it is only a Performance Package as you can get at the SL 55.

I think it won't ride well, cause too much power for the small car to handle.

C class with a 6L AMG engine? Maybe it doesn't need so much power.
