Between every other car in it's class(Japanese wise)...the Corolla, the Mazda 6(Not the sport version)the Sunny and the Lancer, I think i'd be safe to say it's the fastest?

where did you read the speed? if it was the cars speedometer, that can be tampered with very easily, especially now that everything like that is electronically done. if it was on a radar gun, or somewhere else where it obviously wasnt what the car thought it was going, then it probably was going that fast. show the vid please?

If its the video I think it is it was taken at the Salt Lake and was on an official run of 215.749mph when it lifted slightly span several times and then took off like an aeroplane.

From memory the skyline records are 240mph for the Jun Hyperlemon R33 on a salt lake or at a dessert, and about 216mph on a wet New Zealand single lane track in Veilside R34 !!!

ok.......already we have the sledgehammer at 254 mph.......why are people naming things that are quite a bit slower? shouldnt we be trying to think of things that can break 254, not things that cant break 254?

Just out of interest, there are lots of people saying the sledgehammer does 254 mph, but has anyone seen any proof?

Sounds as if it would make interesting reading.
    Thanks for all the fish
