    The ultimate muscle car

I thought we would seperate the design the muscle car away from the muscle car thread. Cdoz is the main guy behind this so take it away cdoz

good idea man. the muscle car thread was a good starting place, but this is a bit big to not have its own thread.
ok.......so far, we have 3 people working on it. me, nokia, and herc. other people helping....would be apreciated.
-so far, nokia is the main guy on exhaust and seats.
-im currently working on design, with a friend (he isnt a ucp-er), and also looking at some engines.
-herc is helping nokia a bit, and doing some design and wheel stuff
ok, so far, we are looking at an old muscle car derived design, with at least a 356 cid engine, simple, 2 valve per cylinder OHV pushrod setup (or very closely related).

if anyone wants to make any suggestions or comments, go right ahead. if you wanna help, please ask, dont be afraid. if someone has already put their name up for something, you can help them, if they dont want help, you can do that part anyway, and whatever the 2 groups come up with will both be considered.

i just realized something......we should decide on a budget (or on "none at all"). i say for this project, we go all out.

Think about A larger version of the engines they use in nascar. V8, OHV, Carboreted, 800 horsepower and gobs of torque. Ill try to help out with this later but crrently im a lil busy. It should have an agressive coke bottle shape. Fat rear tires, shit handling, but insane acceleration, and a simple interior with row down windows IMO.

thats basically what we looking for. general shape doesnt matter, as long as its aggresive, and resmebles an old muscle car (so it probably will be coke bottle, lol). handling should be moderate, not overly important, but not completly forgotten.

Yes but if you completely forget about handling you can get better straight line performance, oh and btw it shouldnt have any driver aids.

post whatever parts you pick/create. more time to base the design off of them.
