    1970 Hemi Cuda sold for 250k!

    Barrett Jackson annual auction this week, this Cuda sold for $250,000.

    that is alot of money for that car. i like old muscle cars, but 250 g,s. damm is that car worth that much?

    the way it was optioned out was very rare, and it was fully restored to original specs.

    Yeah, I was watching when that came across the boards, Brock Yates and Bob Varsha were saying it might go to around the 200k mark, well, it did that in a hurry and then slowed around 240, finishing as you can see at 250.

    If it had been a '71 instead of a '70, it would have been close to 2x as much. And if it had been a convertible, it would have probably been nearer to $1M.

    or 3 million in the case of the auction where they had a hemi cuda convertable 1971.

    I think that these and the 55/56 T-birds are THE most expencive muscle cars (restored). Even if the car is shat, it can still pull $30-40 grand, just so it can be restored. HEMI cudas have gone for more than that, they ARE worth that much.

    Yes. I believe that only 7 '71 Hemicuda convertibles were built.

    Man, the muscle car scene has really picked up the last few years. As much of a 'Cuda fan as I am, I don't think I could justify 250 large on it.
