    Toyota recalling tacoma's

    (just so you guys know that american manufacturers aren't the only 1's doin mistakes:P)

    Toyota Motor Co. is recalling 22,228 Tacoma pickups because the parking brake may not work, the automaker and federal safety regulators said Tuesday.

    Where's that guy who was trashing the F-series because they got recalled, and said the Tacoma was better?

    I thought the tacomas were produced in USA?

    Tijuana, components are produced in Cali and some assembly there too.

    NOT Japanese - oops

    thats weird how they recalled the tacomas i thought toyota put good quality into their cars. they usually don't get recalls very often. toyota that is

    I have a Landcruiser built in Japan which is fairly bulletproof and well made. I had a Camry built in Australia which was not as well finished. Seems QA can only do so much.

    They are built in Indiana. Like a couple hours away from where I live. Princeton or somethin like that i believe.
