Do car forums have any impact on auto makers?

So, do you think the auto makers pay any atention to what we think and say? Do you think they should pay attention to us?

i think if there were a forum specifically for a certain car company with tens of millions of active members, the corresponding company should pay attention. However, that will never happen, and I don't think they should pay attention.

Cool, what product or service is your company gonna sell? Can I invest in it?

I wrote GM here in Mexico and they told me the local Pontiac dealer can import the GTO for me I'll get it once the company is up and going strong. You know what I'd like to do? Import from Autralia the front facia of the Monaro for the GTO. Do you think I could do that, think it would fit?

should slide right on. me and my friends want to import HSV's and coupe 4's in america and drive them around. (HSV's are holdens with mean kits and go a wee bit faster)
and the coupe 4 is a awd monaro but it looks the bombdigidy!\

this comeing from someone who dislikes holden

sweeny - wee would be looking to beat their 2nd or so fastest cars, whist maintaining superior build quality and exclucivity.

um in ten years either we're gonna run out of oil, gonna be on hydrogen or hybrids, or have flying cars ()

seriously though, in ten years dont u think the market for such a vehicle would be much smaller then it is today ? like im just thinking with the way gas prices are now, and there's steady increase of people in urban areas while the whole "enviroment" problem doesnt seem like its gonna stop or even slow down

if ur targeting enthusiasts and stuff and market it as a pure performance/track car then i think that'd make more sense, but sooner or later the government is gonna say no to internal combustion
