    Ralph Lauren Cars On Display

The Museum of Fine Art in Boston is holding an exposition of sixteen cars that Ralph Lauren owns from March 6–July 3. These include a Bentley Blower, the 'Count Trossi' Mercedes-Benz SSK, and a 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe. For all of you in the Boston area, I wouldn't want to miss this one.

I'm not in the Boston area, but I really hope to get up to this exhibit. I also can't wait for the book on his collection to come out April 1.

I read about that in Time magazine, apparently a lot of people are mad that they are doing this. I am just mad that Ralph Lauren owns the cars and not me. I want to go see them, and I might. I doubt it though

Sadly it's only a few of his cars, not all

When did this happen? There's an article about his collection in the March Octane magazine and it didn't mention the demise of his F1.

his silver McLaren F1 roadcar WILL be there, its there right now. rumor has it that he purchased Frank Selldorf's, a boston resident, McLaren F1 LM and it hit a wall at a track revently. there are a few pics of shtattered carbon fiber peices on the net, such as the one below, which is dated february 16th in the embedded data, if that says anything to you. Frank's car was serial number LM03

    EDIT: forgot pic

That could be a different car, because Ralph's car is a regular old F1.

so the MacLaren crashed? The show is on April 1st? I would become very suspicious.
