fast car - or - quick car

okay, today someone told me there was a skyline that was faster then the McLaren F1, i didnt believe it, turns out that this skyline was quicker then the F1(which really isnt a feat), the Enzo, CGT, ect

there is a difference between fast and quick, top speed and consistant speed increase/ accel~questioable top speed

my question is, which would you prefer? a fast car or a quick car

Quick. I'd prefer the acceleration. And, how often do you hit max speed around a track? (Not counting large ovals or straight-biased tracks like La Sarthe.

That's true, would be nice to floor it on a strip or empty highway (w/ safety of course.)

Quick - the Mclaren F1 is the perfect mix between the 2 though .. because its excellent at both. Of course .. id prefer something that corners quickly more than I want something that accelerates quickly .. its much easier to feel G force through corners, which is something I love very very much

Quick - Its what I wanted to go for in my frist car (Obviously I didn't get it lol) but as Rockefella said, how often can you cruise up to 150+ or whatever? I like to break off the line and beat the other car in the merge lane.

quick definitely, i mean come on how many times are you going to reach 240mph compared to the amount of times you experience extreme g-forces pulling out of your driveway?

like Quiggs siad earlier Sort of a blend, I want my car to have amazing acceleration but also have a high top speed. But most cars that have the amazing powerful engines are both Fast and Quick. The engine can excell the car forward fast and can get the car to amazingly fast speeds.

Quick every time for the reasons stated, how often can you get it up to 'fast' and can afford the tyres to run safely at 200+

Quick. I really enjoy the ability to accelerate to speed out of a corner, much more then going fast. Also, if you have a high top speed, but crap acceleration, the wait to get to a high speed after a turn will kill you.

    Quick. Defititely quick.
