    Progress: Lambo Murcie Roadster conversion.

Since no kit of the Roadster is available I'm attempting to convert the stock Murcie to one. I of course began by cutting the roof section off and part of the B and C pillars.

For the new rear deck to be made I had to remove all the louvres, the last one will be used after I reshape it for the downward drop into the rear facing scoop. I have drawn some of the shapes I need onto sheet styrene and have cut the pattern but much is to be done yet to achieve the three dimensional aspects of the new deck.

One of the pics my conversion is compared to a 1/32 scale slot car of the Roadster Concept, I am making the production version which is a bit different.

The section behind the seats will have to be shaped largely from putty and sanded accordingly.

Good stuff! Can't wait to see it when it's finished!
It's not how fast you go, it's how much fun you have getting there

Anyone who buys a car now for around 30,00 pounds and doesn't buy one of these is either mad, or boring.
